We gather to pray for Governor Phil Bryant, Elected Officials, State & Federal Senators and Congressmen, and Court Judges/Justices.

This year’s guest speaker is Myrlie Evers-Williams, noted civil rights activist and author.

This year is historic in that Mission Mississippi is celebrating 20 years of racial reconciliation and healing in Mississippi. This event is an opportunity for the people of Mississippi to gather and pray for Governor Phil Bryant and Elected Leaders, who will be in attendance, and hear an inspiring message of racial reconciliation. Myrlie Evers-Williams will be speaking. She is the widow of the slayed civil rights activist Medgar Evers; this year marks 50 years since his death.  Other notable individuals participating on program are:  Mayor Johnny Dupree, Dr. David Powe, Maggie Wade Dixon, Dr. Roger Parrott and Dr. Carolyn Meyers.
